Since first posting this question, I have acquired two additional birds signed "IT". These are:

   Green Whip-poor-will / Pajusotka  - Birds of Passage
   Bald Coot / Nokikana  - Birds of Passage

They were acquired from sources in the USA, consistent with being export birds.

All examples are posted on my "User Album" - Nokikana.

The National Glass Museum in Leerdam does not have any birds on display. This may change in near future as there exist two "Leerdam birds" now.
We visited the Designmuseo in Helsinki during the Toikka's exhibition - thus I do not know whether they display some birds permanently.
According to its website the Corning Museum owns two gorgeous Kiikkuris (expecially the green one is amazing) - perhaps someone from this forum will have an opportunity to check if they are exhibited.

None that we know of.  Each year the Tacoma Museum of Glass puts on a small display of birds in October for the "Bird Lover's Weekend" event co-sponsored by Iittala, but that is the only display we know of other than at the factory.  There may be one in Europe somewhere, but we have never heard of one.

Is there any permanent display of Toikka birds outside Finland?

Hi Dan -
   Welcome to the Forum.
   Great bird! - it's a resting or sleeping Kiikkuri - probably made in 1976-1978 - and has nice color. Do you have the history of this bird? How did it come to the USA, and how did you acquire it? Most birds have some interesting history.

In case interested, I listed what I believe to be an early 1970s Toikka bird on ebay at:

Size 15 1/2 inches x 7 inches (39 cm. x 18 cm.) maximum length and height.  Net weight nearly 4 pounds (nearly 2 kilos).
Diamond point signed "Oiva Troikka Nuutajarvi Notsjo ".  Pulegoso style glass.
Has an old Arabia foil label with crown and "Arabia Wartsila Finland".
